Every module, and why it is not the one next to it

Ludora is bought one module at a time, so the only question worth answering carefully is which of them you actually want — and that means knowing which two look alike. Each entry below gives what the module does, one worked example, and the module it is most often confused with.

  • Tournaments vs seasons: a tournament ends in days and pays by rank against other people; a season runs for months and pays by points crossed on a track nobody else can take from you.
  • Seasons vs the VIP ladder: a season resets and is scored on activity; loyalty never resets on a schedule and is scored on money.
  • Missions vs campaigns: a mission is something a player walks into; a campaign is something that goes out to them at a moment they did not choose.
  • Refer-a-friend vs affiliate management: the referrer is a player rather than a business — no invoice, no portal, no commission plan, and a different team buys it.
  • Analytics vs the report builder: one answers the questions every operator has; the other lets them ask their own.
  • Analytics vs churn prediction: one is what happened and is a fact; the other is what is likely and is a stated model.

The plumbing every module needs — event ingest, the reward wallet, single sign-on, in-app messaging and the data warehouse — is included whichever modules are licensed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a season just a long tournament?

No. A tournament is a ranked race over days that pays by finishing position, so a player can be overtaken. A season is a reward track climbed alone over months, paying at points thresholds, plus a division that sorts players against others at their own level. Nobody can take a season reward away from you by playing more than you.

What is the difference between refer-a-friend and affiliate management?

The referrer. Affiliate management is for businesses — tracking links, commission plans, payouts and a portal they log into. Refer-a-friend is a player bringing a friend, rewarded inside the product, with no invoice and no portal. They are sold separately because different teams buy them.

Do I need lifecycle campaigns if I already have missions?

They solve opposite halves. A mission waits for the player to walk into it; a campaign reaches a player who has stopped, at a moment they did not choose. Operators who run both use missions for players who are present and campaigns for players who are not.

Can I buy a single module?

Yes, and it works end to end on its own. Event ingest, the reward wallet, single sign-on, in-app messaging and the data warehouse are included with any module rather than sold as a platform fee.
